G5 Double-ended Go Gauges for a Combined Pair of Lampholders 7006-47C-3

CONSTRUCTION: The plane containing the axes of the pins at one end is displaced from true alignment with the plane containing the axes of the pins at the other end by such an angle in a clockwise can just be inserted without undue force into two parallel slots, each 2,87 mm in width.

When testing a combined pair of lampholders mounted in a luminaire, the value of dimension A shall be equal to dimension A max. of the related lamp, with a tolerance of + 0,05 mmm.

PURPOSE: To check a combined pair of flexible or inflexible lampholders G5 with regard to entry of lamp pins.

TESTING: It shall be possible to insert each gauge in turn into a combined pair of lampholders.
For the maximum forces to be applied see IEC Publication 400, Sub clause 10.5.

Note. - Testing shall be carried out with the lampholders mounted at minimum distance in a testing device according to the lampholder manufacturer's instructions. The testing device is discribed in IEC Publication 400: "Lampholders for tubular fluorescent lamps and starterholers".
