G13 Double-ended Go Gauges for a Combined Pair of Lampholders 7006-60C-3

The drawings are intended only to illustrate the assential dimensions of the gauges.

For details of mounting of a combined pair of inflexible lampholders G13, see sheet 7005-50.

Note. - Testing involves the use of the gauges I and II.

(1) This valus is equal to dimension A max. of a 15W lamp.
(See IEC Publication 81: "Tubular fluorescent lamps for general lighting service".)

(2) Lampholders intended for lamps having a nominal diameter greater than 25 mm, shall in addition be checked with a simple measuring device (e.g. a plug) having a diameter in accordance with the required maximum cap shell diameter, shown as dimension A on sheet. 7004-51.

PURPOSE: To check a combined pair of flexible or inflexible lampholders G13 with regard to entry of lamp pins.

TESTING: It shall be possible to insert each gauge into a combined pair of lampholders.
For the maximum forces to be applied see IEC Publication 400, Sub-clause 10.5.

Note. - Testing shall be carried out with the lampholders mounted at minimum distace in a testing device according to the lampholder manufacturer's instructions. The testing device is discribed in IEC Publication 400: " Lampholders ofr tubular fluorescent lamps nad starterholders".
