IEC60061-3: 7006-24E-1 E39 Go Gauge for Screw Thread of Lampholders

The drawings are intended only to illustrate the essential dimensions of the gauge.

For details of lampholder E39, see sheet 7005-24A.

PURPOSE: To check the minimum dimensions of the E39 lampholder screw thread and the maximum and minium values of dimension X. It is not intonded that this gauge be applied to lampholers with lamp-gripping features in the screw shell area.

TESTING: It shall be possible to screw the gauge into the lampholder without using undue force. When the gauge is screwed in as far as it will go, the rim of the screwed shell of the lampholder shall be co-planar with, or project beyond, surface Y1, but it shall not project beyond surface Y2.
