E26d Gauge for Testing Contact-Making of Lamps Fitted with Caps (Non-Skirted/Sans Collerette) 7006-29-3.

(1) This value is for lamps fitted with E26/24 caps. For lamps fitted with E26/25 caps, dimension K is 29,3 mm.
(2) This value is for lamps fitted with E26/24 caps. For lamps fitted with E26/25 caps, dimension M is 25,9 mm.
(3) The plunger of the gauge is shown in the test position. When the plunger is at rest, surface W shall be retracted deeper than surface V.
(4) For E26/24 only.
PURPOSE: To check lamp dimensions for contact-making in E26, E26/50x39, E26/51x39 or E26d lampholders.

TESTING: The shape of the lamp with regard to the fit in the lampholder is assumed to be correct, if the lamp can be pushed into the gauge until plane W reaches plane V or projects beyond it.

For E26/24 capped lamps, when surfaces V and W are coincident, the top of the cap including any solder or conductive material, shall not extend above surface X.
